A Clare Government Senator says the coalition needs to prove in 2015 that it has learned from its mistakes in the past 12 months.

Ennistymon's Martin Conway is also describing 2014 as a "complete write-off" in terms of popularity for the coalition.
His comments follow the passing of the water services bill through the Seanad last night, and after allegations that some Senators had been drinking alcohol while the legislation was being discussed late on Friday night.
