Clare's Senator feels as a proposed Copyright bill will greatly broaden the amount of literature available to people with disabilities.
The bill will relax copyright restrictions in a number of areas and allow greater freedom to publish written material in digital form.
It's been given Government approval and Martin Conway insists that, once adopted, the bill will be particularly benefical to those who are visually impaired.
Senator Conway says there will also be copyright exceptions for educational material and it's part of government efforts to keep legislation in line with modern technology.
