Clare’s Fine Gael Senator is calling for what he says is a ‘root and branch’ reform of the Leaving Cert exams.
It comes ahead of the physical sitting of exams being this week.

The grades are to be generated for all students in all subjects, with pupils to be given the choice whether to sit physical exams or take the accreditated grades.
Senator Martin Conway says the pandemic may have highlighted the need for a continuous assessment model of the state exams going forward.
