A Clare Fine Gael Senator is calling for a full Seanad debate on the Garda Inspectorate report.

Martin Conway says the Upper House needs to discuss the ramifications of the document and has a right to hear from the Minister for Justice on her plans to address all matters raised in it.
His calls come as reports suggest the latest update on crime figures could be delayed in light of a damning report from the Garda Inspectorate.
The Central Statistics Office has been in contact with senior Gardai to discuss the issue.
