A Clare Senator says the provision of student supports for young people in direct provision provides equality for all those hoping to advance in education.

The Minister for Education, Jan O'Sullivan has announced that students who have spent five years in the Irish school system will have access to student supports from next month.
Up until now, children in the asylum protection system were unable to pursue a third level educatoin despite excelling in education.
