A Clare Government Senator’s calling for clarity on prospective funding for wastewater infrastructure in Broadford.
The Government announced a 50 million euro plan earlier this year to provide essential sewerage facilities to certain areas, where it was expected the East Clare village would benefit.

However, no confirmation of the funding has been received yet, despite an application having been submitted on Broadford’s behalf by Clare County Council.
Speaking in the Seanad, Ennistymon-based Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway says an update on the matter is long overdue.
