Clare Samaritans are encouraging anyone starting the New Year on a low ebb to contact them if needs be.

2014 was a busy year for Samaritans, with a 52 per cent increase in calls that has been attributed in part to a new freephone number, which had been trialled in Clare before it was rolled out nationwide.
This year is also expected to be busy, and people are being encouraged to contact them on that number, 116 123, via email on [email protected] or by calling into the Ennis branch on the Kilrush Road between 10 am and 10 pm daily.
