Clare Samaritans Encouraging Community To Reach Out On ‘Brew Monday’

The Clare branch of the Samaritans are encouraging people in this county to reach out for a virtual cuppa in aid of ‘Brew Monday’.

The third Monday of this month is traditionally known as ‘Blue Monday’, with the group renaming the day in an attempt to ensure no one is struggling alone.

New research from the organisation has revealed callers to the charity have heightened feelings of isolation and loneliness, partly due to enhanced COVID-19 restrictions.
