The Chair of Clare’s Rural Development SPC says he’s ‘hopeful’ of a quick resolution to the ongoing impasse over the county’s Shannon Heritage sites.
It follows an apparent progress in negotiations which has been outlined by Clare County Council this week.

Rural Development SPC members were told “details have been fine tuned” on the matter, and that the Council is hopeful of approval on a package “before the summer season”.
Committee Chair and Fianna Fail Councillor Pat Hayes has been telling Clare FM’s Josh Prenderville that he believes it was a positive update on proceedings.
