Clare’s Fianna Fail senator says road projects that have missed out on Department of Transport funding ‘will be taken care of’ in the coming years.
It comes after Clare was allocated a €25.2 million package to improve its local and regional roads in 2021.
Over €11 million will go towards restoration improvements on secondary roads across the county, with €4 million earmarked for the Shannon Crossing project, including the Killaloe bypass.
Senator Timmy Dooley says other projects across the county aren’t being forgotten.
