It’s claimed Clare’s roads have been left in a “ridiculous” state due to consistent shortfalls in capital funding.
The recent €39.3m allocation announced for local and regional roads here is an annual drop of 10%, while more than a third of the funds have been ringfenced for the Shannon Bridge Crossing.
