The R474 Ennis to Kilmaley Road will be closed between Inch Bridge and Kilmaley Crossroads between the hours of 8.30am and 6.00pm from Monday to Friday of this week to facilitate essential roadworks.
Access from Ennis to Kilmaley and vice versa will be directed via "The Lower Road" from Inch Bridge to Kilmaley Post Office and traffic intending to travel directly from Ennis to Miltown Malbay and vice versa are advised to use the N85 and R460 via Inagh.
Clare County Council says diversion route details are particularly important for heavy commercial vehicles.
