New Year revellers are being urged to visit their local bottle bank today and dispose of their glass waste correctly.
Clare County Council is ensuring that there will be plenty of room in these facilities today, ahead of an expected influx of visits from locals.
It’s part of the local authority’s Green Christmas initiative – which aims to reduce the environmental impact where at all possible until normality resumes tomorrow.
