A series of public consultation events on the issue of flooding in Clare begins today.

The Office of Public Works is holding an event at Áras Chontae an Chláir from 2:30 until 7 o'clock this afternoon.
Further events will be held in Kilkee and in Shannon tomorrow, and in Killaloe/Ballina on Thursday.
The events will give members of the public an opportunity to review and make observations on flood risk management programmes for a number of areas, including Ennis, Kilkee, Kilrush, Quin, O'Briens Bridge, Shannon, Bunratty, Sixmilebridge, Killaloe/Ballina and Springield Clonlara.
