Clare will be represented at the Rose of Tralee festival which takes place over the next two nights.
Ballyea native Niamh Kelly, who is the Abu Dhabi rose, was among the second group of 16 Roses announced by the Rose of Tralee Maggie McEldowney at a private breakfast event over the weekend.
The event was attended by the roses, their families and Rose Centre Coordinators.
