Rents in Clare have risen by almost 10% in the last 12 months.

The latest figures from Daft.ie show the average rent in the county has now risen to 633 euro, which is almost 20% more than the lowest point.
The percentage rise here is just behind the national average, however rents in Clare have increased at a faster rate than most other counties in Munster and on the western seaboard.
Daft.ie economist Ronan Lyons is putting this down to the county's location.
