Clare Rent Increase Third Highest In Ireland In Final Quarter Of 2020

Rents in Clare increased by more than almost any other county in the country in the last three months of 2020.

New figures from the Residential Tenancies Board suggest average rental costs here were 778 euro at the end of last year – a near six percent increase on the three months prior.

Only Longford and Meath saw higher percentage increases in the same timeframe.

All electoral areas of Clare continue to have rental prices that are below the national average, with the Shannon region being the most expensive at over 900 euro.

Renting a home in West Clare is the cheapest area in this county, with average costs there standing at 568 euro per month.
