Clare remains among the most popular tourism destinations in the country, according to Failte Ireland.
Newly-published figures for 2014 show some 561,000 people visited the county, making it the fifth most popular with people travelling to Ireland.

Only Dublin, Cork, Kerry and Galway out performed Co. Clare.
Of these visitors, the majority, 228 thousand, came from North America, followed by Mainland Europe and Britain.
