Clare has been upgraded to a red weather alert for tomorrow morning.
The local authority’s Winter Maintanance Crews will be out in force this evening ahead of the arrival of Storm Eunice.
The red alert will remain in place in Clare between 3am and 8am tomorrow morning, with the same colour also in place for counties Cork, Kerry and Waterford.

A status Orange weather alert is in place for ten other counties, including Limerick and Galway.
People are being warned of the possibilty of mass power outages and coastal flooding, while snowfall is expected in some parts.
Schools and colleges are expected to close in Clare as a result of the red warning being issued.
