Clare has recorded the third-highest increase in property prices nationwide in the last year.
Myhome.ie’s first quarterly report for 2025 shows the average asking price of a home in this county is now over €295,000.
The analysis which focuses on the period of January to March this year has revealed that the average price of a home in Clare has risen by over 11% within the last twelve months.
Since the beginning of the year, the price of a 3-bed semi-detached home has risen by €12,500 to now a command a sum of over €282,500.
A four-bed property on the other hand is now €35,000 more expensive in Clare than it was twelve months ago, with an average starting price of €300,000.
There were also just 244 properties available for sale in this county at the end of March, down 5% from the beginning of the year, while the average time for a property to go sale agreed here is now just over five and a half months.
With average property price increases of 17.7% and 15.5% respectively, only Donegal and Cavan experienced greater housing inflation than Clare last year.
