Clare had one of the lowest levels of drink driving recorded in during the recent Christmas period.
Figures released to the Dáil show 20 people here were arrested under suspicion of being under the influence between the start of December and January 8th.
The only Garda Division areas with fewer drink driving arrests were in Dublin, while Cork West, Kilkenny/Carlow, Kerry and Mayo all had more.
Clare Gardaí have previously stated that the number of drink driving arrests here in December was higher than in the same month in 2015.
