Clare has recorded its lowest level of new COVID-19 cases in one day in seven weeks.
Eight new cases of the virus were confirmed in this county last night – the lowest number since December 22nd, and the first day of single figure case numbers here since December 23rd.
Clare’s incidence rate of 289.5 per 100,000 people in the last 14 days is now the fifth lowest in the country.
344 cases have been confirmed in the past fortnight – that’s compared to 1,702 cases in the two weeks prior.
