Clare Records 5th Highest Property Price Increase Nationwide

Clare’s property prices are now rising at the 5th fastest rate in the country.

The latest report from Myhome.ie shows the average cost of a home in this county has jumped by over €26,000 in just the last three months.

The analysis for the first quarter of the year, which represents the period of January to March, has focused on the median price of homes in the county.

This refers to the middle point of actual prices paid for properties in Clare between the least and most expensive.

According to Myhome.ie , the median asking price for a house in this county is now €265,000, representing an annual increase of 6.5% and a rise of over €26,000 in just the last three months.

Three-bed properties here rose by 8.5% to €249,000.

This was the fifth-highest increase in the country for a three-bed home, with greater hikes only recorded in Galway, Limerick Cork, Dublin and Laois.

While the price of a two-bed property here has jumped by over 14% in the last year to €155,000.

At the end of March, there were just 228 homes available for purchase in Clare, which is a near 10% reduction on the number of properties on the market here at the end of last year.
