Clare quarry goes on the market

A 4.6 million euro price tag has been set for a quarry in Co. Clare.

Fountain Cross consists of a limestone quarry, fixed crushing and screening plants and concrete/asphalt manufacturing facilities.

It's one of seven former Whelan Group limestone quarries, with a combined value of 10 million euro, which have been put on the market by UK agents Ganly Walters and Carter Jonas.

Guide prices of €525,000 have been set for two other Co Clare quarries, the Cliff in Darragh and Tullagower in Kilrush.
