Clare Pyrite Action Group Say Inclusion In Redress Scheme Is Only The Beginning Of Long Battle

The Clare Pyrite Action Group insist the county’s inclusion in the defective concrete blocks redress scheme is only the first step towards resolving the issue.

Cabinet signed off on the final plan today, which is set to be expanded to counties Clare and Limerick, in addition to those affective by defective blocks in Donegal and Mayo.

It means a further 2,000 homes will come under the scheme, with the cost rising to around 2.7 billion euro.
