The Chair of the Clare Pyrite Action Group says ‘new thinking’ is needed to alleviate soaring rebuilding costs.

It’s believed homeowners are having to pay up to 20 percent more to insure their properties due to the rising cost of rebuilding materials.

It’s led to concerns that those impacted by defective concrete blocks in this county could face even higher costs in repairing their homes.
