The Clare Pyrite Action group claims the government is not treating their cause with the urgency it deserves.
A previous inspection carried out by the group estimates that 1,025 homes and 11 public and private buildings have defective blocks in this county.

Meanwhile Cabinet signed off on the redress scheme in June last year and its expansion to include Clare and Limerick, however a dedicated agency has still not been established to process applications in the MIdWest.
Chair of the Clare Pyrite Action Group, Dr Martina Clearly says their concerns are consistently falling on deaf ears.
