Clare Publicans “Won’t Support” Move To Restore Opening Hours At This Point

The Chair of the Clare Vintners Federation says publicans won’t support any move to restore opening hours at pubs and restaurants to pre-pandemic levels at this point.

It comes amid calls from some within the hospitality sector for all remaining restrictions to be lifted by the end of September.

Ennis Publican Charlie O’Meara says while there’s a big push for that in the capital, publicans here don’t want it.
