Clare Public Urged To Have Their Say On Deer Management

Members of the public in Clare are being urged to make their voices heard on managing the deer population locally.

A public consultation on the State’s strategy to manage deer is set to close for submissions on Friday evening.

The issue has caused concerns among residents of East Clare in particular, with high numbers of deer reported near the Slieve Aughtys in recent months.
