Clare County Dog Warden Frankie Coote is appealing to people who have concerns about dog fouling in their locality to contact him about it.
He’s been reacting to comments from listeners to Clare FM’s Morning Focus, who have again raised the issue of dog fouling over the past two days.
Areas with issues include Tulla, Ennis, Quin and Lahinch and Frankie Coote says they’re reliant on local knowledge to help them catch who’s responsible.

He also says they will look to stamp out the issue by working with the dog owners, rather than sanctioning them.
