People in Clare are encouraged to descend on Limerick City next weekend to take part in the ‘3 for 3’ walk to raise vital funds as part of breast cancer awareness month.
The event will take place Sunday October 19th and will see participants undertake a 3km walk, starting at Arthur’s Quay and taking in the three bridges across the city.
All funds raised will be donated to the Symptomatic Breast Unit in UHL, with over €100,000 raised since its inception in 2018.
Founder of the 3for3 Charity, Caroline Moloney, says increased awareness is having tangible results in the numbers of people getting screened for breast cancer.
