One lucky Clare person has struck gold, after winning 50,000 euro in the prize bonds.
The owner of prize bond number AJG 159 486, which was purchased in this county in 2017, was the winner of this week’s Prize Bond Star Prize.

It was one of more than 4,700 prizes awarded in this week’s draw, which amounted to over €300,600.
Prize Bonds are a State Savings product which, instead of paying interest, offers bond holders the chance
to win cash prizes every week and all winnings are tax free.
