A Clare pet owner is hopeful her dog will emerge victorious from a nationwide competition.
11 year-old Pixie will represent Clare at this year’s Nose of Tralee Competition which is run by Pet Sitters Ireland and sponsored by Tesco.

The competition, which is in its 10th year, is open to pets of all shapes and sizes beyonds dogs and cats and is open to public voting until the 21st of August.
Pixie’s owner Josie O’Brien, who rescued her pet from the Ennis Pound, says she has entered her to raise awareness of “unwanted” dogs.
