Clare people are being urged to add their voice to calls for increased protections aimed at preventing homelessness across the island of Ireland.
Tenants’ and housing union, Community Action Tenants Union Ireland has announced an All-Island Housing Demonstration, which will be held at the Garden of Remembrance in Dublin at 1pm on Saturday, July 5th.

It’s in response to what its described as the rapidly escalating housing crisis in both the Republic and the North of Ireland.
Clare CATU Spokesperson, George Stavrou is urging those interested in joining the demonstration to contact them to arrange transport, as he says it’s vital the struggles of ordinary people are highlighted.
