Clare People Urged To Help Save Lives As Blood Stocks Hit “Critically Low” Levels

Clare people are being called on to play their part in saving lives, as stocks of some blood types have hit a critically low level.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has issued a pre-amber alert to hospitals, as it appeals for donors.

IBTS has issued three appeals this year and it’s Donor Services Manager fears the urgency of the message isn’t registering with people.
