Clare people are being reminded to ‘ask for Angela’ if needed as Christmas parties begin across the county this weekend.
Extra Gardaí are being promised in the large urban centres of Ennis and Shannon over the next number of weeks as the festive season gets underway.

The county town is once again in receipt of a Purple Flag, which recognises the quality of the area’s nightlife.
Ennis publican and Clare branch Chair of the VFI, Charlie O’ Meara, says the main aim over Christmas is to keep people safe while enjoying a night out.
