Parents in Clare are being encouraged to avail of booster vaccines for their children over 12 as they return to school this week.
12 to 15 year olds are now eligible for a first booster dose if they’ve already received two Covid vaccines previously.
Children between 5 and 12 are, as of now, only eligible for doses 1 and 2, with parents in those cohorts being advised to get them vaccinated if they haven’t done so already.
