Clare Ovarian Cancer Survivor Urges Women Not To Write-Off Symptoms

A Clare advocate for ovarian cancer awareness is urging women not to write-off symptoms of the disease as age-related issues.

Tulla native Ann Murphy was diagnosed with early stage ovarian cancer 10 years ago, around the same time that her sister Gráinne was diagnosed with late stage cancer.

The sisters, who had the same symptoms and went through treatment together, though Gráinne passed away only 22 months later.
