Clare Immigrant Support centre is calling for dedicated language supports to be put in place for refugees coming here.
The Justice Minister says most of the initial 600 refugees Ireland's agreed to shelter will start arriving here shortly after EU ministers signed off on a deal to relocate a total of 40-thousand refugees across Europe.
But, they failed to get unanimous agreement on the relocation of a further 120-thousand refugees – under which Ireland will take in 4-thousand people.
