An organ donor recipient in Clare is urging anyone who hasn’t signed up to be a donor to do so, and potentially save a life.
The latest report from the HSE, released to mark Organ Donor Awareness Week, shows that 81 families last year donated the organs of a deceased loved one.
In all, this allowed over 200 transplants to be carried out in Irish hospitals.
