Clare opposition to plans to close rural schools

Clare County Council is urging the government not to implement a proposal to amalgamate schools of less than fifty pupils included in the An Bord Snip Nua report written under the direction of the last government.

The Council will also seek the backing of other local authorities in it’s call.
