Clare One Of Five Counties Not To Record Road Death So Far This Year

Clare is one of just five counties yet to have recorded a death on the roads so far this year.

New research from the RSA has found that rural roads, with speed limits of 80km per hour or higher, are the most likely places for a fatal collision to occur.

Clare, along with Leitrim, Offaly, Laois and Carlow had no fatalities between January and July – with Dublin having the highest number at 11.
