Only five counties have had more IDA-sponsored site visits than Clare this year.
The visits, by foreign companies which are looking to invest in Ireland, represent a key step in the process of securing foreign direct investment in Ireland.
There have been 13 such visits in Clare in the first nine months of the year, compared with 12 last year.
The IDA does not release any other data on where in Clare the potential investors have looked at, but in recent weeks Shannon Group CEO Matthew Thomas has spoken of what he called "exciting enquiries" for the Shannon area.
