Clare officials meet with leading companies stateside

Over 120 key decision makers have met with Clare officials in New York overnight at a ‘significant’ event showcasing the county as an investment location.

The event was organised by Clare County Council, and was hosted by Consul General of Ireland in New York, Cappa native Noel Kilkenny.

A number of local officials were in attendance, among them Mayor of Clare Councillor Pat Hayes, county manager Tom Coughlan and Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen – they held discussions with key figures in a number of leading US firms, including Novartis, Horizon Medical Group, Abbott, Medicomp, Credit Suisse and JP Morgan.
