Brigadier General Peter O'Halloran has been promoted to Assistant Chief of Staff of Óglaigh na hÉireann.
A native of Ennis, Brigadier General O'Halloran's previous experience includes 6 tours with the United Nations, 3 with the European Union and 1 with NATO.
These include missions in Kosovo, Macedonia, Chad and Somalia.
