An Ennis musician is calling on the Government to issue a roadmap for the reopening of the sector without what he describes as ‘ridiculous hoops to jump through’.
It comes as industry representatives are to meet with Minister Catherine Martin today to thrash out plans for the return of live entertainment.

A roadmap for the re-opening of the rest of society is due to be released in the coming weeks, though the Pandemic Unemployment Payment is due to be cut on the 7th of September.
Ennis-based guitarist Graham Keane is fearful that public confidence in the music sector may be eroded by further reopening delays.
