Clare Musician Fearful Launch Date Of Payment Scheme For Artists Wil Be Later Than Expected

An Clare musician is fearful the launch date for a new pilot scheme will be later than first anticipated.

Up to 2000 people will be able to avail of the Basic Income Scheme for Artists, which will see them receive a basic income for a period of three years.

The launch date for the scheme hasn’t yet been finalised as the consultation process is concluding, but it’s expected to be announced early this year.
