Clare Museum Adopt Disaster Plan

Clare County Council has adopted a disaster plan for the county’s museum – to be used in the event of a flood, fire or theft.

It involves a list of the building’s contents on O’Connell Street in Ennis with notes of what to do in each situation.

A “triage” plan is also in place so that at-risk artefacts can be swiftly removed from the museum if they are in danger.
