A Clare mother-to-be has labelled current maternity restrictions for new parents as ‘barbaric’.
Concern continues to be expressed about hospital rules currently keeping partners of pregnant women out of maternity wards due to COVID-19 concerns.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin has committed to examining the issue, stating that a nationwide policy on the matter should be put in place.
