The Road Safety Authority is warning Clare drivers to take extra care on the roads as heavy rain and flooding is expected across the country.

Rainfall between 30 and 60 millimetres is expected for both today and tomorrow – with Munster and Connacht to be the worst affected.
The RSA says motorists shouldn’t attempt to drive through flooded areas – and should allow extra stopping distance on slippy roads.
